The Anne Frank House attaches great importance to the careful handling of personal data. In processing your personal data (any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person) we comply with the requirements laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR').

The Anne Frank House may process different types of personal data, varying from direct identification details such as names, to contact details such as email addresses, and personal characteristics, such as age category. We process only those personal data that are required for the performance of our services.

3. The purposes for which we process personal data 

The Anne Frank House collects, uses, and manages the personal data provided by you or collected by the Anne Frank House for all purposes required to provide the relevant services of the Anne Frank House and to ensure the proper (technical) operation of the website. These purposes include but are not limited to signing up to events, mailings, providing services and access to the website(s).

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
